![]() Galbadia Garden Also known as ‘G-Garden’, it was the second Garden to be built following Balamb Garden. Though, unlike Balamb, Galbadia Garden focuses on advancing weapon technology and also serves as a military academy of Galbadia, with a heavy focus on firearms and combat training. Cadets usually graduate to join the ranks of the Galbadian military, though those who seek SeeDship are welcome to transfer to Balamb. Galbadia Garden played a major role in the Second Sorceress War, as it became Sorceress Edea’s base of operations after she seized control of the Galbadia government, Galbadian military and the Garden. After both Balamb Garden and Galbadia Garden became mobile, they engaged in 'The Battle of the Gardens'. Balamb SeeDs managed to defeat Edea, freeing her from Ultimecia’s possession. After the battle, Galbadia Garden returned to Galbadia for repairs. It is back in operation today, though with somewhat of a tarnished reputation considering the Garden’s involvement in the war. Galbadia Garden is located in the northern part of Galbadia near Monterosa Plateau, surrounded by desert. |

Trabia Garden Located in the snowy continent of Trabia, Trabia Garden was the third and last Garden to be built. The smallest of the three Gardens and also the most remote, Trabia Garden is known for it’s friendly community, where cadets treat each other more like family than simply classmates. Though their official motto is “Take Care of Oneself”, in practice their attitude is better described as “Take Care of Each Other”. Trabia’s spirit was best displayed in the aftermath of devastation; under Sorceress Edea’s orders, both Trabia Garden and Balamb Garden were targeted by Galbadian missiles. While Balamb Garden managed to avoid the missiles after becoming mobile, Trabia Garden was caught by surprise, turning the entire school into ruins. But rather than let the destruction of their home bring their spirits down, surviving cadets and faculty vowed to rebuild Garden. Volunteers from Balamb Garden often take organized trips to help with efforts to rebuild their sister Garden. Trabia Garden is surrounded by dense forests which contain both monsters and Chocobos. |
*Players are more than welcome to have their muses be transfer students from either Trabia or Galbadia Garden.
